Always A Cut Above the Rest

Some stories are too good to be true, but ours is too good, and it’s true. After finishing my sophomore year at Yale University, I traveled back home to Georgia to visit with family. While I was down in the hot Georgia sun, my friend and future father-in-law, Dusty, introduced me to a new snack he had been working with a friend to develop, which I absolutely devoured.

Following the summer, I brought some of that special, tender, beef brisket jerky back up to Yale to share with my roommates. What began as a joke of starting a jerky company quickly became more serious as we began sourcing ingredients and branding the packaging.

Thanks to the development of our unique manufacturing process, we’re able to offer a truly premium snack at an affordable price. Not only are our products superior in quality and taste, their MSRP stacks up perfectly against any other competitor in the industry.

Throughout the whole process of growing our company from dream to reality, we have unwaveringly stuck to our promise of using only USDA Choice and Select beef brisket sourced only from US-raised steer. We’re the only company out there trying to make high quality USDA beef mainstream in the jerky industry.

We found this goal was in complete alignment with Chobani’s mission of providing better food for more people, and have been so lucky to participate in the inaugural class of the Chobani Food Incubator. Throughout the last six months, every single person we’ve met has contributed towards the immense growth our team has experienced as a company and as people. Largely thanks to Chobani, we now have multiple major retail grocery launches set for mid-2017 across the nation with some of the largest players in the industry.

The ability to share this product with consumers of all backgrounds is what gets me, Aaron and Dusty out of bed in the mornings…We keep working towards the collective goal of providing better food for more people.
